Role Description
The Senior Workday Analyst plays a critical role in the continued evolution, optimization, and expansion of Pharmavite’s HR technology landscape, with a primary focus on Workday. This position serves as a strategic partner to Human Resources, Payroll, Finance, and business leaders by translating business needs into scalable technical solutions that improve operational efficiency, employee experience, data integrity, and organizational effectiveness.
The Senior Workday Analyst is responsible for the design, configuration, support, and continuous improvement of Workday modules including:
- Core HCM
- Advanced Compensation
- Recruiting
- Talent Management
- Benefits
- Absence
- Reporting
- Analytics
Critical contributions this role is counted on to deliver include:
- Configure, maintain, and optimize Workday modules.
- Lead the full solution lifecycle from requirements gathering to post-implementation support.
- Translate complex business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
- Serve as a strategic advisor to HR, Payroll, Finance, and business leaders.
- Build strong partnerships with stakeholders at all organizational levels.
- Drive adoption, optimization, and transformation initiatives.
- Partner with the Global HRIS team to ensure alignment with governance standards.
- Collaborate with AMS partners and cross-functional teams.
- Support and maintain Workday business processes and integrations.
- Develop and maintain workforce analytics and KPI reporting.
- Lead biannual Workday release reviews and impact assessments.
- Perform ongoing audits and data quality reviews.
- Partner with Information Security, Compliance, Privacy, and Internal Audit teams.
- Provide support for other HR technologies including Visier, HR Acuity, JIRA.
- Stay current on Workday innovations and industry best practices.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 5+ years of HRIS and/or Workday experience, including at least 3 years of hands-on Workday configuration and administration.
- Experience designing, configuring, testing, implementing, and supporting Workday solutions.
- Strong understanding of Workday architecture, including business processes and data management.
- Demonstrated ability to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
- Ability to leverage Workday’s emerging AI/ML capabilities.
- Strong understanding of HR processes and practices.
- Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience leading change management and user adoption initiatives.
- High level of discretion and professionalism when handling confidential information.
Requirements
- Active Workday certifications in Core HCM, Reporting, Recruiting, Advanced Compensation, Talent, or related modules.
- Experience supporting additional HR technologies such as Visier, HR Acuity, JIRA.
- Experience partnering with external AMS providers or implementation consultants.
- Knowledge of HR data governance, privacy regulations, and compliance requirements.
