What You'll Do

As Banquet Captain, you'll oversee banquet operations from setup through event completion while ensuring every guest receives exceptional service.

Responsibilities

• Lead and direct banquet staff during weddings, meetings, conferences, and special events.
• Ensure banquet rooms are set according to event orders and company standards.
• Coordinate with Culinary, Sales, Engineering, and Front Office teams to ensure seamless event execution.
• Monitor service throughout each event and proactively address guest needs.
• Inspect banquet rooms for cleanliness, organization, and proper setup.
• Adjust staffing assignments based on business needs.
• Supervise event breakdown and proper storage of equipment.
• Complete banquet billing and event documentation using Delphi.
• Participate in BEO meetings and department meetings.
• Order banquet supplies and linens as needed.
• Assist the team wherever necessary to ensure successful events.

What We're Looking For

• Previous banquet, restaurant, hotel, or hospitality leadership experience preferred.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Strong leadership and team-building abilities.
• Ability to remain calm and professional in a fast-paced environment.
• Outstanding guest service skills and attention to detail.
• Basic computer and math skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
