Senior Accounts Payable SpecialistRemote (U.S.)A growing, SaaS-focused organization is seeking a Senior Accounts Payable Specialist to join their finance team. This role reports directly to the Director of Accounting and will play a key role in managing the full accounts payable lifecycle, supporting multiple entities, and helping improve accounting processes.This is a great opportunity for an experienced AP professional who enjoys ownership, process improvement, and working in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.Role OverviewThe Senior Accounts Payable Specialist will oversee end-to-end accounts payable operations, including invoice processing, payment management, vendor relationships, reconciliations, and month-end close support. This individual will work closely with internal stakeholders and the broader finance team to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and compliance.Key ResponsibilitiesManage full-cycle accounts payable processes, including invoice review, coding, approvals, and paymentsProcess vendor invoices, purchase orders, credit memos, and employee expense reimbursementsMaintain accurate AP records across multiple entities and general ledgersManage vendor inquiries and resolve invoice/payment discrepanciesSupport month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities, including accruals and AP reportingMaintain vendor documentation and support audit requestsAssist with AP process improvements, automation initiatives, and best practicesManage corporate card programs, including RAMP administrationSupport annual 1099 preparation and filingAssist with cash planning and other accounting projects as neededQualifications3+ years of accounts payable experienceStrong understanding of AP processes, accounting principles, and internal controlsExperience working in a multi-entity environment preferredExperience with ERP/accounting systems; NetSuite experience strongly preferredAdvanced Excel skills, including VLOOKUPs and pivot tablesStrong attention to detail and ability to manage deadlinesExcellent communication and problem-solving skillsAbility to work independently while collaborating with a remote finance teamCompensation & BenefitsSalary range: $75,000–$80,000Competitive equity package401(k) with company matchLocation: Remote – U.S. (Nevada Candidates, Ideal)
