Job Summary
We are seeking a Bilingual Front Desk Receptionist to join the team at our fast-paced Podiatric clinic. The ideal candidate has a cheerful disposition, excellent communication, and computer skills, and is capable of multitasking. 

Core Duties & Responsibilities

• Patient Reception: Welcoming patients, verifying identity, distributing intake forms, and ensuring HIPAA compliance at all times.
• Scheduling & Intake: Managing provider calendars, confirming appointments, updating demographics, and preparing charts for upcoming visits.
• Billing & Insurance: Verifying insurance eligibility, obtaining prior authorizations, and collecting co-pays, deductibles, and outstanding balances.
• Communication: Answering high-volume calls, triaging messages to clinical staff, and managing records/referrals. 
• Surgical Coordination  

Other duties

• Office Triage: Calming anxious patients and helping with medical emergencies in the waiting area.
• Clinical Support: Assisting medical assistants or nurses with rooming patients, taking vitals, or prepping exam rooms.
• Facility Management: Ordering medical/office supplies, maintaining office equipment, and keeping the lobby clean.
• Assist Medical Assistants when needed.

Qualifications

• Two or more years of experience as a front desk receptionist or similar role is preferred
• Must be bilingual - English and Spanish
• Excellent communication skills with a commitment to customer service
• Strong work ethic and positive attitude
• Familiar with computers and scheduling software
• Excellent multi-tasking skills
