Adjunct/Part-Time Faculty; Department of Writing, Rhetoric & Digital Studies Position Number: EPTF50 Employment Type: Temporary - Part-time Hours per week: varies Schedule: varies Salary: varies Responsibilities Develop and update course syllabus. Prepare lectures, projects, and other student assignments. Meet all designated class periods. Maintain regularly scheduled office hours. Grade student assignments and exams in a timely manner. Submit completed mid‑semester progress reports and final grades according to University regulations. Qualifications Doctorate or master’s degree in the teaching discipline or a master’s degree with a minimum of 18 graduate semester hours in the teaching discipline (undergraduate courses). Earned doctorate / terminal degree in the teaching discipline or a related discipline (graduate courses). Consideration also given to competence, effectiveness, and capacity, including undergraduate and graduate degrees, related work experience, professional licensure and certifications, honors and awards, and documented excellence in teaching and student learning outcomes.
