Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to understand the severity, frequency, and impact of mood disorder symptoms in clients, utilizing standardized evaluation tools and evidence-based interviews.

• Formulate individualized treatment plans in collaboration with clients, setting attainable goals to empower them on their recovery journey.

• Provide therapeutic interventions based on Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), adjusting methods according to client progress and response.

• Educate clients and their families about mood disorders, the importance of treatment adherence, and effective self-care strategies to foster better mental health management.
\n
• Regularly monitor and document client progress, ensuring that treatment plans remain relevant and responsive to evolving needs.
\n
• Work in conjunction with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals on patient care, promoting an integrated approach that encompasses both therapeutic and medicinal strategies.

• Stay informed about the latest research and therapeutic approaches related to mood disorders and implement evidence-based practices in the treatment process.

• Participate in ongoing professional development activities, case consultations, and team meetings to refine clinical skills and share best practices.

• Act as an advocate for clients, fostering awareness and reducing stigma surrounding mental health issues, and promoting the importance of mental healthcare access.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on individuals experiencing mood disorders, including but not limited to depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety-related conditions. You will be responsible for providing culturally competent care that encourages open dialogue, and empowers clients to take an active role in their treatment. By utilizing telehealth, you will have the opportunity to reach clients from various backgrounds and locations, enhancing their access to quality mental health support.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Psychology, or Marriage and Family Therapy from an accredited institution.

• Current, valid licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in Florida.

• Demonstrated proficiency in evidence-based treatment modalities, particularly CBT and DBT, with a solid foundation in psychopharmacology.

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to establish rapport and build trusting relationships with clients.

Preferred Experience\n

• At least two years of direct clinical experience providing therapy to clients with mood disorders.

• Experience in a telehealth setting is highly desirable, with familiarity in using digital platforms for client interaction and documentation.

• Annual salary between USD 80,000 and 100,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
