Premises Liability Associate

Our client is seeking a mid-level to senior associate with 5+ years of experience to join its Premises Liability Team in Southern California. The team defends a wide variety of businesses, including restaurants, retail stores, sports clubs, attractions, theaters, and other commercial entities. Associates work closely with lead attorneys throughout all stages of litigation, from case evaluation and discovery through trial, with an emphasis on strategic litigation and achieving client objectives. Key Responsibilities Attend court hearings and participate in site inspections. Take and defend depositions. Draft and respond to written discovery, including interrogatories, document requests, and requests for admission. Evaluate cases and develop and implement litigation strategies. Maintain proactive communication with clients throughout litigation. Participate in all phases of litigation, including trial preparation and presentation. Qualifications At least 5 years of civil litigation experience . Active California State Bar membership and good standing. Experience in premises liability litigation, preferably in a law firm environment. Strong legal research and writing skills with excellent attention to detail. Strong time-management skills and ability to meet deadlines. Self-motivated, eager to learn, and interested in long-term professional development.
