Manufacturing Supervisor - 2nd Shift

What you will do

We're hiring a Manufacturing Supervisor to lead day-to-day production operations in a plant-based manufacturing environment. This role reports to the Manufacturing/Production Manager and is critical to meeting safety, quality, cost, and delivery goals while maintaining strong employee engagement.

This position plays a key role in keeping production running safely and efficiently, developing frontline teams, and driving continuous improvement across manufacturing operations.

What Does Success Look Like

• Meet daily production, quality, and safety targets for assigned work areas.

• Lead, coach, and develop production employees to perform work safely and efficiently.

• Maintain strong employee relations through consistent policy application and coaching.

• Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and housekeeping standards.

• Monitor labor, materials, scrap, and productivity to meet cost and efficiency goals.

• Identify and drive process, equipment, and standard work improvements.

What we look for

Required

• Bachelor's degree Engineering, Business, Operations, or related field preferred.

• At least 1 year of supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment.

• Ability to work 12-hour shifts, including nights and overtime as needed.

• Experience using computer systems for labor, production, or inventory tracking.

Preferred

• Experience in union manufacturing environments.

• Familiarity with standard work audits and continuous improvement practices.

• Exposure to safety, environmental, and quality management systems.
