Enjoy a flexible hybrid work schedule.Job DescriptionAssociate – Credit Fund Accounting OverviewThe Associate – Credit Fund Accounting plays a vital role in managing fund accounting operations within a leading financial services firm.Collaborate with internal teams and external fund administrators to ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance.Engage in fund setup, operations, and ad hoc investor requests to support strategic objectives.Contribute to the preparation and review of GAAP financial statements and NAV estimates.Work in a hybrid environment with a flexible schedule, enabling work-life balance.Gain exposure to private credit, public credit, private equity, and hedge fund accounting practices.Develop expertise in fee calculations, capital statement reviews, and investor return analysis.Join a dynamic team committed to delivering high-quality financial solutions and insights.Associate – Credit Fund Accounting Key Responsibilities & DutiesPerform monthly and quarterly fund closings with fund administrators, ensuring accuracy and compliance.Calculate and review management and incentive fee waterfalls to maintain financial integrity.Prepare and review partners’ capital statements and fund expense reports.Coordinate capital call and distribution calculations and notices with stakeholders.Analyze monthly investor returns and NAV estimates for performance tracking.Assist in the preparation of quarterly and annual GAAP financial statements.Collaborate with legal and investor relations teams on fund setup and operational matters.Contribute to ad hoc reporting and special projects to support organizational goals.Associate – Credit Fund Accounting Job RequirementsBachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance is required.4-6 years of experience in fund accounting or public accounting within financial services.Big Four public accounting experience and CPA certification are preferred.Proficiency in GAAP financial statements and NAV calculations is essential.Strong analytical skills and attention to detail for fee and expense reviews.Ability to work in a hybrid environment with a flexible schedule.Excellent communication skills for collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.Familiarity with private credit, public credit, private equity, and hedge fund accounting practices.
