Job Description Dobis & Associates — Secretary / Bookkeeper / Tax Preparer Position Overview Dobis & Associates is seeking an organized, detail-oriented professional to support daily office operations, maintain client financial records, and assist with tax return preparation. This role requires strong communication, high confidentiality, precise attention to detail, and the ability to multitask within a fast-paced public accounting firm. Key Responsibilities Administrative Support: Greet clients, manage phone calls and email inquiries, schedule appointments, and coordinate calendars. Document Management: Draft, proofread, and maintain client correspondence, engagement letters, and physical/electronic client files. Bookkeeping & Billing: Perform data entry, maintain client books, and handle billing processes using QuickBooks Online. Tax Preparation Assistance: Gather, organize, and review client tax documentation for completeness and accuracy prior to filing.
