• Experience: Previous cardiothoracic or vascular surgery experience recommended

What You'll Do

• Manage post-op care for cardiothoracic and vascular surgery patients
• Perform emergency surgeries on cardiac and vascular cases
• Conduct consults and referrals from ED, cath lab, and hospital providers
• Assist in surgical procedures, including vein harvesting and tissue retrieval
• Interpret diagnostic tests and order necessary imaging
• Coordinate care across multidisciplinary teams
• Document procedures and patient progress in Epic EMR

What You Need

• Ohio medical license
• Prior experience in cardiothoracic or vascular surgery preferred
• Ability to perform post-op care, emergency interventions, and assist in surgeries
• Strong communication and teamwork skills

• Certification in ACLS/BLS
• Previous hospital-based or inpatient experience

About the Assignment Join a busy inpatient, hospital-based setting serving adult and geriatric populations with a Level 2 trauma designation. You'll support a team dedicated to quality patient outcomes, handling approximately 20-26 hospital patients daily. This role offers the chance to develop your skills, teach, and coordinate complex surgical cases in a dynamic environment.
