Key Responsibilities\n

• Deliver high-quality individual, couples, and family therapy sessions designed to meet clearly defined therapeutic goals and outcomes.

• Conduct thorough intakes and assessments to accurately gauge clients’ emotional and relational needs, ensuring all information is current and comprehensive.

• Maintain precise and timely clinical documentation that adheres to HIPAA regulations and organizational policies, ensuring compliance with state and federal requirements.

• Participate actively in weekly team meetings, case consults, and supervision sessions to ensure the delivery of optimal care and to refine clinical skills.

• Engage in community outreach programs aimed at increasing awareness of mental health resources, reducing stigma, and promoting a culture of acceptance towards therapy.

• Provide immediate crisis intervention and emotional support during urgent scenarios, applying evidence-based practices to effectively navigate and resolve crises.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In your role as an LMFT, you will work with a diverse range of clients, including trauma survivors, families undergoing significant transitions, and individuals facing relationship challenges. Understanding the complexities of these situations, you will employ a trauma-informed approach to care, ensuring a safe and supportive therapeutic environment.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related field from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in New York.

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to establish trust and rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds.

• Demonstrated ability to exercise sound clinical judgment, providing timely supportive consultation to assure comprehensive client care.

• Experience in adhering to ethical guidelines, preserving confidentiality, and maintaining client dignity in all interactions.

• Prior experience in trauma-informed care practices and working with families in crisis preferred, as well as a commitment to helping clients maneuver through life transitions effectively.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The New Man Rehabilitation Center offers a competitive salary range of $90,000 - $110,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
