Key Responsibilities

As a Clinical Physical Therapist, your core responsibilities will include:

• Conducting thorough evaluations of patients referred by physicians, assessing their physical conditions and functional capabilities.
• Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans that align with outlined goals for recovery, incorporating evidence-based methodologies.
• Applying therapeutic techniques, including manual therapy, exercise therapies, and modalities, to promote healing and improve physical function.
• Maintaining detailed documentation and records of patient progress, ensuring compliance with state regulations and organizational policies.
• Educating patients and their caregivers about treatment protocols, home exercises, and injury prevention strategies to enhance their overall care experience.
• Actively collaborating with other healthcare professionals to discuss patient progress and modify treatment plans as necessary to achieve optimal outcomes.
• Meeting productivity standards and contributing to the overall efficiency and effectiveness of the clinic's operations.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will have the opportunity to work with a diverse patient population, including individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, managing chronic pain, or rehabilitating after sports injuries. The range of specialties includes orthopedic, pediatric, neurologic, and sports medicine cases. By tailoring your approach to the unique needs of each patient, you will facilitate their journey toward recovery, helping them regain independence and improve their quality of life.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

• Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.
• A Bachelor's degree with a focus on Physical Therapy as a foundational requirement.
• Current and valid physical therapy license in the state of New Jersey.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration with patients and colleagues.
• Proficiency in using electronic health records (EHR) systems and basic computer applications.

Preferred Experience

While not mandatory, preference will be given to candidates with:

• Experience in outpatient rehabilitation settings, particularly with diverse patient populations.
• Familiarity with advanced treatment techniques and modalities.
• Demonstrated ability to establish strong patient relationships and contribute to team-based care delivery.

Compensation and Benefits
