About the Role:
Join TRUE SENIOR CARE LLC as a Direct Care Worker and make a meaningful impact in the lives of seniors in Southfield, MI. We are dedicated to providing compassionate and personalized care, ensuring our clients feel valued and supported every day.
Responsibilities:
- Assist clients with daily living activities, including bathing, grooming, and meal preparation.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance clients' quality of life.
- Administer medication and monitor health status as directed by healthcare professionals.
- Help clients with mobility and transportation to appointments or social activities.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients.
- Document and report changes in clients' conditions to the care team.
- Collaborate with family members and healthcare providers to ensure comprehensive care.
- Participate in training and development programs to enhance caregiving skills.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional caregiving certifications preferred.
- Previous experience in direct care or a related field is highly desirable.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to lift and assist clients in a safe manner.
- Compassionate and patient demeanor with a passion for helping others.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
- Background check and professional reference checks required.
