Performs technical evaluations including product requirements, specifications, models/designs, drawings and procedures. Collaborates with program management, engineering, manufacturing, supply chain and customers on quality related issues to ensure quality standards are in place. Engages in product failure investigations, material review board decisions and corrective/preventive action. Ensures corrective measures meet acceptable reliability standards and/or are compliant with requirements. Develops strategies and systems designed to improve internal and/or supplier performance and productivity. Evaluates quality systems for deficiency identification and correction. Designs and analyzes inspection and testing processes, mechanisms and equipment; conducts product quality tests, performs statistical analysis to assess products or materials that do not meet required standards and specifications. Engages in supplier selection process and maintain certification programs.\Proficient in AI prompting as it applies to this position and practice.Basic Qualifications• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree from an accredited college in technical disciplines (e.g. engineering field) or equivalent discipline (e.g. math, physics, chemistry, etc.) anything else related.• Knowledge of manufacturing processes. • Ability to obtain Public Trust security clearance and US Citizenship required.Desired Skills• Experience in Manufacturing or Quality engineering position• The ability to work an evolving shift schedule that will include weekend and off-shift hours, as required to support program objectives.• Experience supporting validation and acceptance testing in a production environment• Knowledge of Quality Systems and Processes• Ability to develop performance metrics using Microsoft Excel and take appropriate action• Demonstrated knowledge of non-conformance handling and disposition.• Experience with human spaceflight NASA/DCMA customers• Experience with working in an Assembly, Test, and Launch Operations (ATLO) and Production environment• Experience in Design/Test Readiness/Manufacturing Readiness Reviews• Certified in lean, six-sigma quality engineering methodologies and root cause corrective action training/certification• Knowledge of SAP operating systems, Automation Framework, EPDM, P2P, and VECAM• Ability to interpret engineering drawings and/ or technical specifications• ASQE certifiedPay InformationFull-Time Salary Range: $70500.00 - $130900.00At Lockheed Martin, we know mission success starts with taking care of our people.
