Details CVPICU unit within a Magnet-designated pediatric hospital 1:1 patient ratio for pediatric cardiovascular ICU patients Day shift schedule with 3x12-hour shifts (7:00 AM-7:00 PM) 12-week assignment length Float required to a second campus location as well as other competent units Epic charting system experience preferred but not required Requirements Active OH or compact RN license required in hand at time of consideration Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required Minimum 2 years of RN experience required, including PICU experience BSN required due to facility's Magnet designation Previous travel nursing experience required Two professional references required for consideration Copy of driver's license and Social Security card required for consideration Additional Information Provide critical care nursing to pediatric cardiovascular ICU patients, including ventilator management and respiratory care Responsible for infection control/PPE practices and wound assessment/care Trauma Level I and II experience preferred Local candidates accepted at the same pay rate Facility will consider prior employees for travel assignments as long as they are not currently active staff Facility maintains a strict do-not-call policy American Traveler Job ID P-740571.
