Private Equity Vice President

A growing lower middle market private equity firm that is looking to add a Vice President to its investment team. The firm invests in founder-led and family-owned businesses across the Industrials, Manufacturing, and Aerospace & Defense sectors and is seeking an experienced investor to help lead transactions and portfolio initiatives. Responsibilities Source and evaluate platform and add-on investment opportunities. Conduct financial modeling, valuation, and underwriting analysis. Lead commercial, financial, and operational due diligence efforts. Manage transaction execution from LOI through closing. Prepare investment committee materials and investment recommendations. Monitor portfolio company performance and support value creation initiatives. Assist with add-on acquisitions, integration planning, and strategic growth projects. Mentor junior team members and contribute to firm-building initiatives. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in finance, Economics, Business, or a related field; MBA and/or CFA preferred. 7-10 years of experience in private equity, investment banking, management consulting, or a related investment role. Strong transaction experience, including financial modeling, LBO analysis, due diligence, and deal execution. Experience evaluating and monitoring lower middle market investments and portfolio companies. Background in Aerospace, Defense, Government Services (ADGS), industrials, or related sectors preferred. Excellent analytical, communication, and investment memorandum writing skills. Ability to manage multiple workstreams in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
