Senior Vice President, Finance

Position Summary

The SVP of Finance serves as a key strategic partner to the CFO and executive leadership team, leading the Company’s financial planning, business performance, analytics, and decision-support functions. This executive is responsible for revolutionizing how the organization plans, measures performance, and uses financial and operational information to make decisions.

The SVP will lead the evolution of the Company’s budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and analytics capabilities, creating more timely, accurate, and accessible information for business leaders. This leader will establish stronger feedback loops between financial plans and actual performance, identify emerging trends and early indicators, and partner closely with functional leaders to drive accountability and improve business results.

Working alongside the SVP of Accounting & Treasury, this role will provide the CFO and executive team with a comprehensive view of the Company’s financial performance, outlook, and opportunities.

• Lead the Company’s annual budgeting, forecasting, and business planning processes, partnering closely with the CFO and functional leaders.
• Partner with the CFO to develop and execute the Company’s long-term financial strategy and planning framework.
• Lead, manage, and develop the Finance team, establishing clear priorities and accountability while building the team’s capabilities to support the evolving needs of the business.
• Partner with functional leaders to understand business performance, identify opportunities for improvement, and drive accountability against financial and operational goals.
• Lead the evolution of management reporting and analytics toward scalable, self-service analytics while maintaining appropriate controls, consistency, and data integrity.
• Improve the accuracy, timeliness, accessibility, and usefulness of financial and operational information provided to decision-makers.
• Oversee corporate financial analytics, including financial models, forecasting tools, business cases, calculators, scenario analyses, and other analytical resources.
• Ensure timely and accurate completion of recurring financial and business reporting for internal leadership and external stakeholders.
• Develop reporting and analytical frameworks that clearly connect financial results with underlying business and operational drivers.
• Translate complex financial and operational information into clear insights and recommendations for executive leadership.
• Evaluate existing finance processes, reporting structures, and tools and identify opportunities to simplify, automate, and improve them.
• Balance ongoing Finance deliverables with broader transformation initiatives designed to improve how the organization operates and makes decisions.
• Build strong cross-functional relationships and help create a culture of financial ownership, transparency, and accountability across the organization.

Requirements

• 15+ years of progressive experience in Finance, FP&A, corporate finance, strategic finance, or related disciplines, including meaningful leadership experience.
• Experience within lending, financial services, private credit, real estate finance, or another analytically driven financial environment preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or related field required; MBA or other advanced degree preferred.
• Demonstrated experience leading budgeting, forecasting, financial planning, management reporting, and business performance analysis.
• Strong financial modeling and analytical capabilities with the ability to connect financial performance to operational drivers.
• Experience partnering directly with CFOs, executive leadership teams, parent company executive members, and functional business leaders.
• Demonstrated ability to build or improve reporting, analytics, and financial planning processes within a growing or evolving organization.
• Experience driving change while continuing to deliver against day-to-day business requirements.
• Prior investment banking, management consulting, transaction advisory, or similar analytical experience strongly preferred.

Compensation

The base pay range for this position is $260,000 to $310,000 per year, plus annual discretionary bonus based on performance of the individual and company.
