Work Environment

The role will be performed onsite at our state-of-the-art Rehabilitation Center in Sayreville. You will be part of a collaborative team that includes various health professionals, all dedicated to delivering exceptional patient care. The physical therapy environment is dynamic and patient-focused, with fully equipped treatment areas designed to facilitate rehabilitation and recovery. You will work a Monday to Friday schedule, comprising a standard 40-hour workweek, allowing you to engage meaningfully with your patients and team.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients referred by physicians, identifying needs, functional limitations, and treatment goals.
• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans, utilizing therapeutic exercises, manual therapy techniques, and modalities suited to individual patient conditions.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary to optimize outcomes in accordance with the physician's plan of care.
• Engage in patient education, including providing guidance to patients and their caregivers about their conditions, treatment practices, and home exercise programs.
• Demonstrate exceptional customer service through empathetic patient interactions, fostering a supportive and encouraging atmosphere throughout therapy sessions.
• Collaborate effectively with other healthcare providers to enhance interdisciplinary care and maximize each patient's recovery trajectory.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient treatments, progress notes, and performance metrics to meet regulatory and organizational standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Physical Therapist at Valley Care Solution, you will treat a diverse patient demographic, including individuals with orthopedic, pediatric, neurologic, and sports-related conditions. Each case presents unique challenges, allowing you to leverage your expertise and continually develop your skills. Your role is critical in helping patients regain mobility and return to their daily activities, empowering them to live fulfilling lives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an APTA or CAPTE-accredited program.
• Current State License in Physical Therapy.
• Basic Life Support Certification from the American Heart Association.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills to facilitate effective patient interactions and documentation.
• Competency in word processing and electronic health record systems.
• A proven ability to build rapport with patients to support their rehabilitation goals.
• Passion for positively impacting others' lives through physical therapy.

Preferred Experience

• At least two years of clinical experience in a rehabilitation setting with a focus on evidence-based practice.
• Advanced knowledge in specific areas such as sports medicine, pediatrics, or neurology is highly beneficial.
• Doctorate of Physical Therapy (DPT) is preferred but not mandatory.
• Current CPR Certification.

Compensation and Benefits
