Job Title: Shop Hand / Entry Level Production Worker Job Description

We are looking for motivated individuals to assist with a special facility improvement project. This entry-level opportunity allows you to get your foot in the door in Production by starting with facility upkeep. You will be responsible for general facility cleanup, painting, organization, and light maintenance tasks. This role offers weekly bonuses and potential for transition into full-time production positions within the company.

• General cleaning and organization throughout the facility.
• Painting walls, equipment, and work areas as needed.
• Cleaning and preparing machinery and production equipment.
• Assisting with facility appearance and improvement projects.
• Performing basic patching, touch-up, and maintenance tasks.
• Removing debris and maintaining a clean, safe work environment.
• Supporting project needs as assigned.

• Hardworking and dependable.
• Punctual and reliable.
• Ability to work as part of a team.
• Proficient with hand and power tools.
• Experience with production, tape measure, paint prep, plumb, retail, general labor, hand tools, sanding, painting, and power tools.

• No previous manufacturing experience required.
• Ability to perform physical work throughout the shift.
• Comfortable standing, walking, bending, lifting, and working with cleaning supplies and paint.
• Reliable transportation and strong attendance are required.
• Positive attitude and willingness to help wherever needed.

The work environment includes both non-climate controlled manufacturing facilities and climate-controlled areas. The shop floor can get very hot and dusty, while other parts of the facility are climate controlled. Candidates will split their time between these conditions based on daily assignments.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Washington, MO.

The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $30.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
