Job Description This role is responsible for supporting a wide range of HR and administrative functions, including payroll processing, maintaining accurate payroll records, employee records management, assisting with benefits administration, and day-to-day human resources operations. Responsibilities Maintain accurate payroll records and perform payroll processing. Provide administrative support for Human Resources operations, including maintaining employee records, processing personnel documentation, and ensuring accurate recordkeeping while maintaining integrity and confidentiality. Assist with attending career/job fairs. Assist in planning and conducting new employee onboarding. Assist with employee benefit administration. Provide prompt and courteous customer service to employees and vendors. Conduct oneself with integrity. Develop and maintain positive working relationships with others. Be respectful of teammates and support teamwork amongst coworkers. Ability to handle confidential information. Assist with maintaining the integrity and confidentiality of human resource files and records using the HRIS system. Essential Skills Proficiency in payroll processing and payroll tax management. Knowledge of payroll accounting and deduction procedures. Highly proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook. Ability to handle confidential information with discretion. Additional Skills & Qualifications HRIS experience is a plus. Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field preferred. A minimum of 3 years of payroll administration or HR experience. Work Environment The work environment is professional, requiring the use of HRIS systems for maintaining records and ensuring data confidentiality. The role demands teamwork and collaboration among coworkers, along with respectful communication and adherence to integrity. Job Type & Location This is a Permanent position based out of Des Moines, IA. Pay And Benefits The pay range for this position is $60000.00 - $70000.00/yr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
