Schedule: Monday-Friday, 6:00 AM-2:30 PM or 8:00 AM-4:30 PM | OT may be required JOB SUMMARY Seeking a detail-oriented Payment Processor II to research, process, and reconcile property tax payments for clients nationwide. This role requires accuracy, organization, and the ability to manage high-volume work while meeting deadlines and service requirements. ESSENTIAL DUTIES
- Research tax bills and amounts through agency websites and internal systems.
- Contact tax agencies to obtain and verify information.
- Process and reconcile property tax payments, checks, vouchers, and tax bills.
- Prepare and submit payment packages to tax authorities.
- Track workflow, production, and accuracy; prepare daily reports.
- Process check requests for agency fees and penalties.
- Maintain accurate records through filing, scanning, and data entry.
- Work across multiple systems while managing a high-volume workload.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- 1+ year mortgage servicing experience involving property tax procurement/payment.
- 1+ year clerical/office experience.
- Proficiency in Excel, Outlook, and Word.
- Typing speed of 35 WPM minimum.
- Strong math, analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to research information online and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Associate Degree.
- Property tax processing or mortgage servicing experience.
- Knowledge of RESPA and CFPB regulations.
