EHR Analyst

Job Description
Ideal Candidate Profile: Seeking an EHR Analyst with experience supporting healthcare applications, analyzing workflows, and translating business needs into system enhancements. The ideal candidate has strong requirements gathering, Agile documentation, and testing experience, with a solid understanding of clinical, pharmaceutical, and patient billing workflows. Experience with EHR/Cerner/Oracle Health, SQL/Oracle databases, and public health environments is highly preferred, along with excellent stakeholder communication and problem-solving skills.
\n \nJob Duties & Responsibilities
\nProvide responsive support to EHR users across Local Health Districts.
\nTriage, troubleshoot, and escalate issues appropriately.
\nMonitor and maintain key EHR workflows, processes, and procedures.
\nEngage with stakeholders to understand operational needs, evaluate current EHR capabilities, identify gaps, and recommend effective alternative solutions.
\nGather, analyze, and document business requirements for system enhancements.
\nDevelop user stories, acceptance criteria, and other Agile documentation as needed.
\nSupport functional, integration, and user acceptance testing.
\nCollaborate effectively with cross-functional technical, clinical, and business teams.
\nProduce clear user documentation, job aids, and training materials.
\n \nRequired Skills & Experience
\nExperience providing application support, preferably in healthcare environments.
\nStrong skills in requirements documentation and enhancement analysis.
\nExcellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
\nUnderstanding of clinical, pharmaceutical, and patient billing workflows.
\nExperience participating in structured testing cycles.
\nProficiency with MS Office, Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, and Visio.
\n \nPreferred Qualifications
\nExperience supporting or implementing EHR systems.
\nKnowledge of Oracle Health / Cerner platforms and public health workflows.
\nExperience with SQL, Oracle databases, or web application environments.
\nFamiliarity with Agile methodologies and documentation practices.
