Come be a part of an exciting journey at Daikin Applied, where innovation and excellence drive our every endeavor!Location: Remote Eligible - Based in Minneapolis areaWhat You Will Do:Intakes, organizes, and maintains files in matter management systemRuns reports and prepares data visualizations for team metrics and KPIsManages discovery, including the collection, organization, and preparation of data for productionIssues and manages litigation holdsPrepares drafts of basic documents, including correspondence, responses to discovery and subpoenas, affidavits and declarations, settlement agreements, and other documentsManage and maintain case files, records, and documentation within the matter management systemInvestigates facts and collects relevant documents relating to disputesMaintains and submits litigation and compliance reports.Manages service of processWorks with Finance to process payments for legal settlements and other needsManages administrative needs of the Disputes team, including invoicing, filing, calendaring, and scheduling meetingsAssists with other projects as neededMust be proficient with Microsoft Office suiteMinimum Qualifications:Associates Degree or Certificate in Paralegal Studies or equivalent experience5+ years of experience as a paralegalWork visa sponsorship is not offered for this positionDaikin Applied offers the following benefits for this position, subject to applicable eligibility requirements:Multiple medical insurance plan options + dental and vision insurance401K retirement plan with employer matchPaid time off and company-paid holidaysPaid sick time in accordance with the federal, state and local lawTuition Reimbursement after 6 months of continuous serviceThe typical hourly rate for this position ranges from $35.24 - $58.04 in Minnesota. The range displayed represents the pay range for all positions in the job grade in which this position falls. Individual base pay will depend on a wide range of factors, including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.Employment is contingent upon successful completion of pre-employment requirements, including verification of employment history, education, background screening, and drug testing where permitted by law.
