Job Summary: Telemetry Medical Surgical Float (MS-Tele Float) Centennial, Colorado
The telemetry medical surgical (MS-Tele) float role supports patient care across multiple units and specialties within the assigned float zone. This position is responsible for providing competent, compassionate nursing care to adult and geriatric patients across a range of clinical needs. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day.

Job Details:

• Schedule: 12-hour shifts (Days); minimum 36.0 hours per week; includes 69 weekend shifts in a 6-week schedule.
• Required Qualifications:
  • Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) (AHA), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) (AHA), National Institute of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS)
  • Education/Training: Not specified
  • Location: Centennial, Colorado
  • Experience: Minimum 2 years of MS-Telemetry Medical Surgical (MS-Tele) experience
• Preferred Qualifications: Prior neuro experience
• Additional Information:
  • Float: Floating is required within Zone 3.
  • Unit/Department Orientation: 12 days with a preceptor.
  • Patient Acuity/Areas Supported: May include ICU (low acuity holds with the skillset), PCU/stepdown, and MS-Tele; may float to other acuity levels as needed.
  • Common Patient Types/Diagnoses: Adult and geriatric patients across multiple specialties, including cardiac, neuro, ortho, oncology, renal, urology post-surgicals, general surgery post-appendectomy, gynecology, psych/detox, ENT, and general medicine; includes stable long-term placement patients.
  • Shift Scheduling Notes: Schedules are released 46 weeks in advance and may follow either a single-facility weekly schedule (with possible intra-facility floating) or a Just-In-Time (JIT) assignment where the facility is communicated 12 hours before shift start.
  • Weekend/Holiday Coverage: May be asked to go into the holiday rotation.
  • Cancellation Policy: The healthcare provider can cancel up to 4 shifts per 13-week assignment, or 3 shifts for assignments less than 13 weeks.
  • Charting System: EPIC.
