Group Product Manager

One of America's largest retailers is seeking a Group Product Manager to lead their digital transformation initiatives. This strategic role will oversee a team of product managers and owners responsible for revolutionizing the online shopping experience.

As Group Product Manager, you'll architect the future of digital retail by leading our customer-facing platforms and experiences. In this pivotal role, you'll drive innovation across multiple digital touchpoints while orchestrating collaboration between marketing, design, engineering, and business teams. Your vision will shape how customers discover, engage with, and purchase products through our digital channels, ultimately delivering seamless, intuitive experiences that drive business growth and customer satisfaction. This is an opportunity to make a significant impact on our digital transformation journey while leading initiatives that directly influence the company's success in the e-commerce landscape.

Note: Candidates based in Chicago will have the option to work from either Chicago or Lincolnshire headquarters, with a hybrid work schedule of two to three days per week in the office. (Option for remote work for candidates out-of-state.)

Cross-functional Excellence

Partner with Marketing, Engineering, and Design teams
Serve as primary stakeholder liaison
Ensure alignment on priorities and deliverables
Drive collaboration across departments
Manage resource allocation and timeline planning

Customer-Centric Solutions

Champion voice-of-customer in product development
Leverage data analytics for decision-making
Optimize user journeys and conversion rates
Implement customer feedback mechanisms
Drive improvements in website performance

Performance & Analytics

Define and track critical KPIs
Analyze competitive landscape
Monitor industry trends and opportunities
Create comprehensive performance reports
Drive data-informed strategy refinements

Ideal Candidate Profile

Experience

7+ years in product management
3+ years leading product teams
Proven success in e-commerce and digital retail
Track record of launching successful digital products

Essential Skills

Strategic leadership and team development
Deep understanding of e-commerce best practices
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
Excellence in stakeholder management
Product development, management and web expertise

Education

Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
MBA preferred
