Billing Coordinator

Billing Coordinator Opportunity

Gerhart is seeking a Billing Coordinator to execute company invoicing, by increasing the flow of processing, and efficiency. This role will have a focus on reviewing completed Work Orders, resolve and address invoice related issues and questions, assist with generating company invoicing when needed, and providing administrative support at a high level.

The successful candidate demonstrates a high level of initiative and self-motivation, takes ownership of tasks and drives them to completion, and is a self-starter with a strong sense of responsibility and follow-through.

Key Responsibilities

• Review completed Work Orders obtaining necessary information to ensure accuracy and prompt billing.
• Maintain required company software systems with invoice status information, new customer data based on information provided.
• Provide miscellaneous administrative support to Business Unit Manager.
• Support administrative functions during team members absences.
• Execute additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications

• Good communications skills both written and verbal.
• Background in Accounting is preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years experience in similar position or A.S. degree in related fields.
• Apply effective time management skills to meet deadlines, optimize productivity, and ensure efficiencies of all daily tasks.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail, accuracy, and minimal errors.
• Maintain a well-organized workflow and filing system.
• Self-starter and motivated to work independently.
• Computer proficiency skills including Excel, Word, and order entry systems.
• Problem-solving mindset with a focus on creating positive customer outcomes.
