We are looking for an experienced Sous Chef to join our team and help contribute to our continued growth.
This is a leadership position for someone who loves hospitality, thrives in a high-volume environment, and enjoys mentoring and developing others. We’re looking for someone who leads by example, communicates with respect, and helps build a positive, accountable kitchen culture.
Requirements- 3+ years of sous chef or kitchen management experience in a high-volume restaurant
- Strong leadership, coaching, and team-building skills are a must
- A positive attitude and genuine respect for others—we’re looking for a great human as much as a great chef
- Passion for mentoring and developing cooks
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Detail-oriented with a strong sense of urgency
- Ability to remain calm and decisive under pressure
- Open availability
- Lead and direct the flow of service while maintaining quality and consistency
- Provide clear leadership through a hands-on, lead-by-example approach
- Mentor, train, and develop kitchen staff
- Assist with hiring, onboarding, and ongoing education of cooks
- Delegate responsibilities and ensure smooth day-to-day kitchen operations
- Perform opening and closing management duties
- Maintain the highest standards of food quality, cleanliness, organization, and safety
- Foster a respectful, collaborative, and positive work environment
