Help make a meaningful impact in the lives of K-12 students as a Speech-Language Pathologist on a contract basis. Two openings are available to support a diverse community in dynamic school settings, where you'll collaborate with educators and families to promote student success. This position spans a variety of grade levels and provides the opportunity to serve districts near several prominent Michigan cities, including Grand Blanc, Lansing, Detroit, and nearby areas.

Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• Current Michigan SLP license (or temporary license for CFYs)
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred; strong CFYs will also be considered
• Official university transcripts required prior to consideration
• Experience in school-based or pediatric settings preferred
• Candidates with a background in urban education or familiarity with local community resources will stand out
• Onsite professionals prioritized; remote (VOCO) roles limited to highly experienced applicants
• Proven communication, organization, and teamwork skills

Responsibilities:

• Provide speech and language therapy for K-12 students in accordance with IEPs
• Conduct assessments, develop intervention plans, and monitor student progress
• Collaborate closely with general/special education teams, families, and administrators
• Deliver services that are culturally sensitive and responsive to the needs of urban students
• Maintain accurate documentation and participate in eligibility conferences and IEP meetings
• Serve as a supportive resource for staff and families in developing effective communication strategies
