SolSystems is seeking aClient RelationsIntern to support theClient RelationsTeam. The internwill assistwithcustomeraccount management and implementation of process improvements and efficiencies. Through this position, theinternwilllearn about state renewable portfolio standards and solar renewable energy credits (SREC) markets. They will also gain experience incustomer account management and escalation handling. This position provides a fantastic launching pad for a career in renewable energy. Sol Systems’ Client Relations Team manages accounts for a customer base of over 30,000 solar energy system owners across thirteen states. Customers rely on Sol Systems to sell their SRECs, an important source of revenue from their solar installations. Sol Systems prides itself on its excellent customer service. Key responsibilities: Provide excellent customer service by responding to customer inquiries via email and phone Support data tracking and development of accounts in HubSpot and Sol’s internal databases Contribute toproject-based business development initiatives toretainexisting customers and reach out to potential customers Assistwith state registration processes Assistwith other projects asneeded A successful candidate willpossessthe following skills and attributes: I nterest in renewable energy Interest in customer service Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Proficiencyin Microsoft Excel Knowledge of SQL is a plus A current rising undergraduate junior, senior, or graduate student Location & Hours: This is a full-time summer internship (30–40 hoursper week) based in Washington, D.C. The internship will lastapproximately 8–10 weeks. Interns will be expected to work in the office three days per week. Compensation: This is a paid internship, with an hourly rate of $20–$25,commensuratewith experience.
