QA/QC Lab Technician

Position QA/QC Lab Technician Key responsibilities include ensuring the efficiency and accuracy of result generation by operating laboratory equipment and instrumentation following written procedures. The role requires maintaining clean, calibrated, and safe equipment, complying with safety regulations, and attending safety meetings. Set up and operate laboratory equipment and instrumentation according to procedures. Procure samples based on documented locations and sampling intervals. Verify material test results against internal specifications during testing. Report non-conformities to the Laboratory Supervisor or designated personnel. Record test results in recognized formats promptly. Clean, maintain, troubleshoot, and calibrate test equipment as required. Ensure laboratory cleanliness and organization. Report equipment failures or calibration issues immediately. Understand all documented quality procedures and the company quality policy. Write test reports describing procedures used and chart or graph results when necessary. Handle, store, and dispose of all materials in an environmentally safe manner. Package and ship samples according to prescribed procedures. Perform tasks deemed reasonable by the Laboratory Supervisor or designated persons. Shifts are rotating between QA and QC, including nights, weekends, and some holidays. Position type: Full time and Permanent. Employer is an affirmative action and equal opportunity employer.
