Transactions Paralegal We are searching for a Transactions Paralegal to help support our corporate business. Your work will ensure people across the world have a little more comfort in their lives by reviewing and preparing contracts that reflect the overall profitability of the company. Responsibilities Assist in drafting, filing and follow-up on corporate contracts Coordinate and support contract review by internal and external counsel and internal subject matter experts Assist with due diligence on Mergers & Acquisition projects Assist with preparing and maintaining M&A documents and project organization and reporting Support general Contractual and M&A-based projects Research, analysis, and application of applicable transactional laws Review invoices from outside counsel and other service providers Assist with budgeting and expense tracking Provide general administrative support to the attorneys in the Transactions Group Identify opportunities to use technology and AI to facilitate contract and M&A work Work proactively to improve contract and legal billing process Opening, closing and managing files in matter management software Qualifications Exceptional attention to detail Outstanding level of organization Excellent written and oral communication Effectively prioritize multiple tasks and deadlines Protect confidentiality of sensitive information Proficient with Microsoft Office Things We Consider a Plus Bachelor’s degree Accounting or financial background Equal Employment Opportunity/Veterans/Disability Employer #J-18808-Ljbffr Leggett & Platt
