Key Responsibilities\n

In your capacity as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, your responsibilities will include:

• Conducting comprehensive mental health evaluations through initial consultations via videoconferencing, ensuring accurate documentation of cases from consultation to the conclusion of treatment.

• Developing and implementing tailored intervention and recovery plans that address the specific needs of individuals, couples, families, and groups.

• Facilitating engaging individual and group therapy sessions that encourage client participation and promote healing.

• Monitoring client progress consistently, assessing treatment effectiveness, and making adjustments to care plans as necessary.

• Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, including psychiatrists, physicians, and social workers, to optimize client outcomes through holistic care strategies.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your work will primarily engage clients struggling with a diverse range of mental health issues including anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, and substance use disorders. Qualifications\n

To qualify for this role, candidates must possess:

• A Master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current licensure as a Mental Health Counselor (LMFT, LPCC, or LCSW) recognized in the state of California.

• A passing score on the National Counselor Examination (NCE) and/or the National Clinical Mental Health Counseling Examination (NCMHCE).

• Strong familiarity with electronic health record systems, particularly AVATAR.
\n
• In-depth understanding of how to manage and treat mental, behavioral, and emotional health issues, alongside underlying physical health conditions.

• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities, vital for effective telehealth interactions.

Preferred Experience\n

We value prior experience in a mental health counseling role, particularly within a telehealth or virtual care environment.
