Key Responsibilities\n

• Schedule and conduct virtual sessions utilizing teletherapy platforms, staying engaged with clients and tracking their progress through evidence-based interventions.

• Provide necessary referrals to other healthcare providers, such as psychiatrists, for clients requiring medication evaluations.

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records within our electronic health record (EHR) systems, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with HIPAA regulations.

• Engage in ongoing professional development and attend regular team meetings to share insights and enhance therapy approaches.

• Support clients in building coping strategies and life skills necessary for long-term mental well-being.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor at Brain Builders Counseling Center, you will work with a broad array of clients. This includes individuals battling anxiety, depression, trauma, and substance abuse, as well as those coping with relationship difficulties and stress management. You will have the opportunity to foster strong therapeutic alliances, utilizing your skills to help clients navigate their emotional and psychological landscapes.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Psychology, or a related field from an accredited institution.

• A current and valid license to practice as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in California.

• A minimum of four years of experience in a clinical setting, providing individual and group therapy.

• A strong understanding of mental health disorders and evidence-based treatment modalities.

Compensation and Benefits\n
