Rhythm & Motion Physical Therapy and Wellness is excited to announce an opening for a Full-Time Orthopedic Physical Therapist to join our dedicated team in Avenel, New Jersey. Work Environment

This position offers an onsite work environment in-home care settings, allowing therapists to engage closely with patients in their own homes. The clinic operates Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, encouraging a healthy work-life balance. Our facility is designed to be a welcoming space where therapists can collaborate and share best practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients to assess functional limitations and develop individualized treatment plans that align with their unique needs.
• Implement treatment protocols that leverage evidence-based practices and are tailored to address each patient's goals, while adapting to their evolving health conditions.
• Engage in ongoing assessments to monitor patient progress and make necessary modifications to treatment plans as required.
• Consult with interdisciplinary teams, including physicians and occupational therapists, to coordinate care and optimize patient outcomes.
• Document patient progress meticulously, including baseline evaluations, intervention notes, interim summaries, and discharge evaluations to ensure continuity of care.
• Contribute to timely discharge planning and follow-up services that ensure patients continue on the path to recovery even after exiting formal therapy.
• Participation in facility meetings to foster teamwork and collaborate on quality improvement initiatives.
• Stay informed about regulatory requirements and ensure compliance with best practices within all aspects of clinical services.

Patient Population / Client Focus

This role focuses primarily on orthopedic patients, including those recovering from surgery, sports injuries, and patients with chronic musculoskeletal conditions. As an Orthopedic Physical Therapist, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the patients' quality of life, helping them regain mobility and functional independence.

Qualifications

• Doctorate of Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited physical therapy program.
• Valid state license to practice as a Physical Therapist (PT) issued by the Physical Therapy Examining Committee.
• A minimum of two (2) years of experience in an outpatient orthopedic setting is required.
• Current CPR certification, ensuring the safety and well-being of patients during care.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in home care services is advantageous but not required.
• Familiarity with electronic medical record systems for efficient documentation and patient management.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to engage effectively with a diverse patient population.

Compensation and Benefits
