This full-time position is based onsite in Woodbridge, New Jersey, specifically in the home care setting. As a Physical Therapist with our organization, you will play a crucial role in helping patients regain their mobility and improve their quality of life through individualized treatment plans focused on orthopedic recovery.

Work Environment

This position will be performed in-home, providing a distinctive opportunity to deliver personalized patient care in a familiar and comfortable setting. You will be part of a forward-thinking practice where you will utilize state-of-the-art tools and techniques to enhance recovery processes. Our work schedule is Monday to Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing for consistency in patient care while supporting a balanced professional lifestyle.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver individualized physical therapy care, utilizing evidence-based methods to effectively meet patients' specific rehabilitation goals.
• Manage a balanced patient caseload, enabling you to dedicate necessary time and attention to each patient and their unique recovery paths.
• Employ your expertise in orthopedic therapy to develop comprehensive treatment plans that incorporate various modalities and techniques.
• Focus on cost-effective treatment strategies that promote improved mobility while minimizing reliance on medications and invasive procedures.
• Work with each patient to enhance their strength, flexibility, and coordination through customized fitness and wellness programs.
• Regularly assess treatment outcomes, making adjustments as necessary to ensure optimal patient progress.
• Maintain meticulous documentation of patient interactions, treatment plans, and progress using EMR software, particularly WebPT.
• Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team, including physicians and allied health professionals, to provide holistic care for patients.
• Provide motivational support and encouragement to patients throughout their rehabilitation journey, fostering a positive attitude toward recovery.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will work primarily with patients recovering from orthopedic conditions, including post-operative rehabilitation, sports injuries, and chronic pain syndromes. Your involvement will directly influence their recovery outcomes, helping them regain independence and improve their daily living activities.

Qualifications

• A completed Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution is required.
• An active Physical Therapist license in New Jersey with a clean record, free of any sanctions or board-related proceedings.
• Proficient in various manual therapy techniques and exercise program development, showcasing a strong practical skill set.
• Experience with EMR systems, particularly WebPT, is strongly preferred for precise documentation practices.
• A solid understanding of current physical therapy techniques and methodologies, with an emphasis on evidence-based practices.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience in outpatient orthopedic rehabilitation is preferred, allowing you to leverage your background to enhance patient care.
• Evidence of success in building robust exercise and rehabilitation plans tailored to a diverse patient population.

Compensation and Benefits

This role offers competitive compensation, with an annual salary ranging from USD 100,000 to 120,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
