Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive evaluations of patients' conditions and develop effective treatment plans tailored to individual rehabilitation goals.
• Administer hands-on therapy, including manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and modalities such as ultrasound or electrical stimulation, to help improve patients' physical functions and alleviate pain.
• Closely monitor and document patient progress through the carefully maintained electronic health record (EHR) system, adjusting treatment plans based on individual responses to therapy.
• Educate patients and their families about their conditions, detailing home exercise programs, injury prevention strategies, and lifestyle modifications that can accelerate recovery.
• Stay updated with the latest advancements in physical therapy practices and integrate new techniques into patient care, ensuring adherence to best practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus

This role focuses primarily on orthopedic patients recovering from surgeries, injuries, or chronic conditions affecting their musculoskeletal system. You will work with diverse patient demographics, providing tailored therapies aimed at restoring mobility and function, particularly for those recovering from hip, knee, and shoulder surgeries.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• Current and valid Physical Therapist license in New Jersey.
• A minimum of three years of clinical experience in physical therapy, particularly in orthopedic settings.

Preferred Experience

• Experience utilizing advanced modalities and techniques in orthopedic rehab settings.
• Familiarity with evidence-based practices and outcome measures to ensure the highest quality of patient care.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $110,000 to $130,000 annually, commensurate with experience, along with an inclusive benefits package that includes health insurance, paid time off (PTO), continuing education allowances, and retirement savings plans.
