QA Test Manager

Position QA Test Manager Client Direct Client Duration 7+ Months (with high possibility of extension in FY) Location Austin, TX (Onsite) Job Description Perform highly advanced managerial tasks related to QA and testing activities as well as analysis and testing tasks related to software development and configuration. Responsible for activities during all phases of the system development life cycle including analyzing, diagnosing and resolving reported software problems and troubleshooting system issues for internal and external clients. Define and review the User Acceptance Testing (UAT) strategy specific to TDLR modernization projects (guidance to team during “Soft UAT” as well) and align resources and Subject Matter Experts (SME) for all review and testing activities. 7 - Required - Oversee user acceptance, performance, accessibility, interface, security, and data conversion testing 7 - Required - Manage, perform, monitor, and report on test activities on modern technology platforms 7 - Required - Review, update and create test strategy, suites, and cases 7 - Required - Document and report test results, data conversion and integration issues/concerns, and problem incident reports (PIRs)/defects statusts (PIRs)/defect status 7 - Required - Provide training and mentoring of testing team members 7 - Required - Coordinate scheduling of testing staff, test activities, and meetings 7 - Required - Experience with test tools such as Jira, TestSavvy, JUnit, Selenium, Microfocus UFT, SQL, etc. 7 - Required - Experience and understanding of the full software life cycle with specific emphasis on the testing discipline.
