Physical Therapist - Inpatient Rehabilitation

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

4x10 Days or 5x8 Days - 2 Weekend Shifts per Month are required.

Job Description

The Physical Therapist will provide rehabilitation services to patients in an inpatient setting, focusing on assessing and treating those with mobility limitations due to various conditions. The clinician will work with an interdisciplinary team to develop and implement effective treatment plans tailored to each patient's needs.

Responsibilities

• Conduct assessments and evaluations of patients’ physical abilities and conditions.
• Design and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient evaluations.
• Utilize advanced therapeutic techniques and equipment for patient rehabilitation.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
• Educate patients and families on treatment activities and home exercise programs.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure cohesive patient care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Physical Therapist.
• Must hold a valid BLS certification.
• Alaska PT License or Compact PT License is required.
