Key Responsibilities\n

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Conducting comprehensive clinical assessments of patients to evaluate their mental health needs, substance use history, and readiness for treatment.

• Developing tailored treatment plans that incorporate evidence-based practice and solution-focused interventions to meet the unique needs of each client.

• Employing a variety of therapeutic modalities including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and motivational interviewing techniques.

• Maintaining accurate and timely clinical documentation, ensuring compliance with HIPAA and other regulatory standards.

• Collaborating effectively with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists, medical professionals, and other social workers, to provide comprehensive care for patients.

• Participating in case consultations and peer review meetings to continuously enhance the quality of care and share insights with team members.

• Providing educational resources and support to clients and their families about mental health conditions, treatment options, and available community resources.

• Staying informed about current trends, research, and best practices in substance abuse and mental health treatment, integrating this knowledge into your practice.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily work with individuals undergoing detoxification from substance use, as well as those experiencing co-occurring mental health disorders. Your expertise will help these clients navigate their recovery journey, providing them with compassionate support and practical tools to regain control over their lives. Understanding the dynamics of addiction and mental health will be crucial in facilitating positive clinical outcomes.

Qualifications\n

To be considered for this role, candidates must meet the following qualifications:

• Possession of a Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited program.

• A valid state license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).
