Contract (13 or 26 weeks available) | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a Medical Surgical / Telemetry unit, including patients with higher oxygen demands, dialysis needs, atrial fibrillation, and post-cardiac catheterization recovery
• Manage and monitor telemetry and step-down level patients transitioned from ICU (no ventilator or vasopressor support required)
• Administer and monitor drip medications including heparin, cardizem, amiodarone, and sotalol initiation
• Complete required pre-assignment modules within 48 hours of receiving login credentials prior to contract start
• Float to other like units as needed based on census demands, performing only tasks within demonstrated and documented competencies
• Provide weekend coverage on a rotating basis, approximately every other weekend, subject to change based on unit need

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Tennessee
• Current ACLS certification
• Current BLS certification
• Current NIHSS certification
• Minimum of 1 year of recent experience in a Medical Surgical or Telemetry unit
• Minimum of 1 year of experience with EPIC EMR

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with step-down or progressive care unit patients
• Familiarity with cardiac drip management and telemetry monitoring
• First-time travelers will be considered based on relevant clinical experience
