Software Engineering Program Manager - Cardiac Ablation Solutions

Medtronic seeks a Software Engineering Program Manager to lead software development teams for the Affera cardiac ablation system. The role involves managing complex medical device software across multiple sites, coordinating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring FDA compliance for current and future product releases.
Responsibilities
- Lead software engineering teams on architecture, design, development, testing, and sustaining activities
- Plan and execute release milestones, manage risk, resolve defects, and drive continuous improvement
- Define and coordinate software development deliverables across multiple sites per regulatory requirements
- Lead forecasting, resource planning, technical planning, and release activities with predictable schedules
- Contribute to product strategy through planning, roadmap development, and tradeoff analysis
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree with 5+ years relevant experience, or advanced degree with 3+ years
- Medical product software development knowledge, IEC-62304, and FDA guidance experience
- Program management experience in technical discipline or software engineering background
- Unrestricted U.S. work authorization at time of hire
- Strong cross-functional collaboration and communication skills
- Experience with Agile methodologies and software lifecycle processes
