Registered Nurse (RN) - Float

RN - Float Pool

Schedule: Days 7a-7p

Assignment Details: Holiday coverage required.

Requirements:

• Current RN license in the state required
• Basic Life Support certification required
• ACLS certification required
• Minimum of 3 years of experience required
• Basic Dysrhythmia preferred or must be obtained prior to completion of orientation
• Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI) training preferred or must be obtained prior to completion of orientation

Responsibilities:

• Provide professional nursing care and carry out orders from the provider responsible for patients' medical care.
• Document care plans and other clinical content comprehensively.
• Communicate patient information to ensure continuity and safe care.
• Participate in quality initiatives and performance improvement aimed at better patient outcomes.
• Collaborate with team members across departments and assist with onboarding and mentoring new nurses.
• Ensure a safe environment for patients and staff by adhering to protocols and addressing safety issues.

Compliance / Notes: Complete dysrhythmia course prior to completion of orientation. Maintain current nursing licensure and certifications required for the department.
