Job Responsibilities

• Perform detailed patient evaluations, including comprehensive medical history assessments and physical examinations
• Assist in the assessment and diagnosis of surgical issues through the analysis of imaging and laboratory results
• Work directly with surgeons to develop and implement tailored surgical treatment strategies
• Provide essential intraoperative support by preparing operating rooms, ensuring proper patient positioning, and effectively passing surgical instruments
• Deliver outstanding pre- and post-operative care, overseeing medication administration, managing wound care, facilitating discharge planning, and providing education to patients

Qualifications

• Master's degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program
• Preference for candidates with surgical clinical rotations

Certifications

• Current and valid PA-C certification
• Required certifications in BLS and ACLS
• Active state licensure as a Physician Assistant (or eligibility for one)
