TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Peds CVICU RN in Madison, Wisconsin, 53792!

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Pediatric ICU Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night 3x12-Hour; Day 3x12-Hour Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum of 3 years in high acuity hospital settings. Strong Pediatric ICU experience and at least 1 year of cardiovascular experience required. License: Valid RN license required. Certifications: AHA BLS and PALS required. Must-Have: Telemetry test clearance required prior to starting. Description: Day/Night, 12-hour shifts are available. Shifts are from 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM and 7:30 PM – 7:00 AM. Work schedule includes Monday through Friday with every other weekend and some holidays required. First-time travelers may apply if they have 3 years of experience in a high acuity hospital. Candidates with strong Level II experience will be considered. Experience in pediatric ICU and cardiovascular ICU is strongly preferred. Familiarity with the EPIC charting system is required. The candidate must demonstrate skills in the care of critically ill or injured children and their families. Responsibilities include comprehensive care for patients with a variety of medical and surgical issues. Conditions treated include acute head injuries, critical neurological disorders, pulmonary diseases, cardiac anomalies, organ transplantation, multi-system organ failure, and ECMO. The unit supports interdisciplinary teamwork and collaboration. Travelers may be required to float as needed. Preferred candidates will have experience with Level II trauma and general cardiac care. Note that there may be a need to float to other units as required. Please ensure adherence to all competency requirements as outlined.
