Associate Attorney - Civil Litigation

Job Overview A law firm seeks an Associate Attorney in Hartford, CT, specializing in civil litigation. Conduct legal research and write memoranda. Provide clients with status updates and written reports. Requirements 3 to 8 years of litigation experience, preferably in insurance defense. Clerkship experience is a valuable asset. Proficiency in drafting and arguing dispositive motions. Strong legal research and discovery response skills. Effective communication and prioritization skills. Education Juris Doctor (JD) from an ABA-accredited law school. Certifications Admitted to the Connecticut State Bar or eligible for admission with a UBE score. Skills Strong advocacy skills in mediations, arbitrations, trials, and hearings.
