Work Environment As a Physical Therapist with us, you will work in a home care environment, directly engaging with patients in their homes, which allows for personalized therapy adapted to each individual's lifestyle and needs. This onsite role offers flexibility, with the ability to choose your own hours from Monday to Friday, facilitating a healthy work-life balance while allowing you to focus on patient care. Key Responsibilities In your role as a Physical Therapist, you will: Evaluate patients recovering from injuries, illnesses, or surgeries, conducting thorough assessments to inform treatment strategies. Design and implement individualized treatment plans using various modalities, including therapeutic exercises, hands-on techniques, and equipment to alleviate pain and enhance mobility. Provide clear documentation of treatments, patient responses, and progress to maintain comprehensive health records. Regularly reassess patient needs and modify treatment plans to optimize therapeutic outcomes based on evolving goals. Guide patients on the appropriate use of assistive devices, promoting independence in their daily activities. Educate patients, families, and caregivers on therapeutic procedures and device usage to ensure proper support and understanding. Stay informed on advancements in the field by participating in workshops, professional associations, and continuing education opportunities. Qualifications To be considered for this position, candidates should possess the following qualifications: A Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Therapy with a strong understanding of physical rehabilitation techniques. A current state license in Physical Therapy, allowing you to practice within New Jersey. Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively engage with patients and healthcare teams. Basic proficiency in computer use for documentation and treatment planning. Flexibility and adaptability in working with diverse patient needs and settings. Preferred Experience While prior work experience is not mandatory, candidates should ideally have: Two (2) years of experience in a clinical or therapeutic environment, preferably in home care. A Doctorate of Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program. A current CPR certification to ensure patient safety in emergency situations. Compensation and Benefits We offer a competitive salary range of USD 100,000 to 120,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
