Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Testing & Service Support Technician to join a growing industrial manufacturing team in Sand Springs, OK. This role combines hands-on equipment testing, troubleshooting, technical service support, and customer interaction to ensure products perform at the highest level. The ideal Testing & Service Support Technician is mechanically and electrically skilled, customer-focused, and confident troubleshooting complex industrial systems both onsite and remotely.

What You'll Be Doing
• Conduct equipment testing to verify performance and compliance with specifications
• Perform Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) and maintain detailed documentation
• Review P&IDs, control schematics, and technical documentation prior to testing
• Recommend operational adjustments and control modifications as needed
• Perform startups, repairs, troubleshooting, and preventative maintenance on industrial heating systems
• Provide remote and onsite technical support for service issues and customer troubleshooting
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and control system issues
• Respond to customer service calls and provide first-line technical support
• Communicate product performance feedback to engineering and leadership teams
• Support service, engineering, and sales teams with technical expertise
• Assist with aftermarket parts support and technical recommendations
• Follow all safety standards and compliance procedures during testing and service work

Required Experience & Skills
• High school diploma or GED required
• Minimum 5 years of industrial testing, maintenance, or service experience
• Strong troubleshooting skills involving mechanical, electrical, and industrial systems
• Experience reading P&IDs, schematics, and technical drawings
• Strong technical documentation and reporting skills
• Excellent communication and customer service abilities
• Ability to work independently and make sound technical decisions
• Ability to travel to customer sites as needed
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in industrial environments

Preferred Qualifications
• Two-year technical degree or vocational certification
• PLC programming knowledge
• Experience with electrical systems and burner systems
• Industrial equipment startup and field service experience
• Strong background in preventative maintenance and diagnostics

Work Environment & Physical Requirements
• Combination of office, shop, test bay, and customer field environments
• Non-temperature-controlled industrial environment with noise, dust, dirt, and metal particles
• Frequent standing, walking, climbing ladders, bending, kneeling, and stooping
• Travel to customer sites with varying environmental conditions
• PPE required in all production and field environments
