Job Description

Sheet Metal Fabricators play a crucial role in manufacturing production and custom projects, working within small teams to ensure precise fabrication and assembly of metal components. Reporting to the production manager, they apply their expertise in welding, cutting, bending, and quality control to meet project specifications and uphold safety standards without the need for travel.

Responsibilities

Fabricate, weld, cut, and assemble sheet metal components
Conduct quality control checks throughout the production process
Read and interpret blueprints for accurate fabrication
Bend and shape metal parts according to specifications
Maintain and operate fabrication equipment and hand tools
Ensure compliance with safety regulations
Manage inventory of materials and supplies

Required Qualifications

2+ years of experience in sheet metal fabrication

Preferred Qualifications

Proficiency in blueprint reading
Experience with welding, cutting, and shaping metal
Skilled in metal bending and safety compliance
Strong measurement and layout capabilities
Adept in hand tool operation
Teamwork and collaboration skills
Attention to detail and time management abilities
