We are seeking a qualified School Psychologist / Licensed Specialist in School Psychology (LSSP) to provide comprehensive psychological and behavioral support services within a K–12 educational setting. This is a full-time, on-site position supporting multiple campuses during the 2026–2027 school year.
Position Details:
Employment Type : Full-Time
Work Setting : On-Site Only (No Virtual)
Assignment Dates : August 10, 2026 – May 21, 2027
Schedule : 35 hours per week
School Assignment : Itinerant position serving approximately five campuses, primarily elementary schools with some middle school caseloads.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations to determine student eligibility for special education services.
- Provide assessment and consultation services for students with Autism (AU), Emotional Disturbance (ED), and Other Health Impairments (OHI), including ADHD evaluations.
- Develop and implement Functional Behavioral Assessments (FBAs) and Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs).
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student success and ensure compliance with special education regulations.
- Participate in IEP/ARD meetings and provide recommendations based on assessment findings.
- Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with district, state, and federal guidelines.
Qualifications:
- Active Licensed Specialist in School Psychology (LSSP) license or Associate School Psychologist Credential issued by the appropriate state licensing board.
- Previous school-based experience preferred.
- Bilingual (Spanish/English) candidates are strongly preferred.
- Strong assessment, consultation, and behavioral intervention skills.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and collaboration abilities.
